What Our Community Says
Single mom of 8-year-old twins. My background has always been in food and beverage. I ran my own restaurant for 8 years, and I spent almost 6 years as a manager at Starbucks. Two months after my divorce was finalized, I unexpectedly lost my job with Starbucks. I was lost, overwhelmed, and unemployed, trying to figure out what my next chapter was going to look like. Then I found Hot Mess Marketing... and honestly, I know it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Being here has given me the flexibility to work part-time as a special education tutor while finally using the degree in Early Childhood Education that I earned over 20 years ago. More importantly, it has given me something I desperately needed as a mom: time freedom. I get to be present for my twins, pursue work that I love, and build something of my own—all while creating a life that actually works for our family. Sometimes the chapter you never wanted to happen ends up leading you exactly where you were meant to be. And I'm just getting started.
I am a mom of 3 kids. I am also a full time college student and work full time corporate job. Life can be so incredibly busy and expensive. I needed something a little extra to fill in the gaps. I came across this and it has been such a blessing. I wasn’t looking for another store but found myself in love with the idea of helping others as well as making healthier swaps for my family.
Being here has allowed me to still be present with my kids all while handling our busy lives of sports, schooling and all around life. Helping people has always been a passion of mine, so getting to help others reach their goals along the way has been huge for me. My goal here is to become a stay at home mom, enjoy every moment with my kids and continue to help others do the same.
I spent 20 years behind the chair as a hairstylist, and my favorite part was never just the hair—it was making women feel beautiful, building relationships, and having a front-row seat to so many monumental moments in their lives. Five years ago, after losing my father-in-law to skin cancer and while pregnant with my second baby, I started paying much closer attention to the products we were using in our home. Now, pregnant with baby number three, that peace of mind means even more to me. And somewhere along the way I realized that the thing I loved most about being behind the chair never actually went away—I still get to help women, just in a different way. The financial opportunity is an incredible bonus, but I was sold on having one trusted place to shop long before that. I believe deeply in the reputation and staying power of this company, and I want other families to experience the same confidence, community and peace of mind that it has given me.
As a wife and mom of four, I spent years building careers in hospitality and education, but no matter how hard I worked, it always felt like we were living paycheck to paycheck. More than anything, I wanted the freedom to be present for my family. Growing up, I didn’t have much time with my own parents, and I knew I wanted something different for my children. When anxiety and panic attacks began affecting my life, I realized I needed a career that could fit around my family—not one that forced me to choose between my health and the people I love.
Finding Hot Mess Marketing changed everything. It has given me so much more than a business—it has given me options, purpose, and a life I truly love. Today, I have the freedom to work remotely, build a meaningful business on my own terms, prioritize my family, continue healing, and help other women discover that they don’t have to settle for the life they once thought was their only option.
